The aim of the FAUstairs project is to further develop FAU’s degree programs and create a progressive learning environment (initially on a pilot basis, followed by an FAU-wide rollout, and then a generalization to other universities). Key measures in this regard include the implementation of innovative, motivating, and effective assessment methods—both summative and formative—as well as the creation of digital twins of students and degree programs to improve self-regulation in the context of developing subject-specific and cross-disciplinary competencies.
