My talk went well, but I had the feeling that it was far too technical for most participants and didn’t hit their interest. There was not enough time to introduce techniques we use (OMDoc, OpenMath, PMathML, JOMDoc, …). Moreover, the focus of the workshop seems to be on tools that can and are already used in mathematical education, as well as evaluation on the use of technology in education, system demonstrations, and tutorials. Maybe I should have focused on the panta rhei systems, its features, and how to use it in educational scenarios. The details on mathematical practice, the notation conversion and JOMDoc might have been too much. I was hoping to get feedback on the questionnaires, surveys, and the integration of interactive exercises. Unfortunately, I did not receive any questions or comments. But this was the first day of the workshop and I will most likely get a chance to discuss some of these issues off line. Hopefully I will also understand what the focus and concern of this workshop is, so far it is not clear to me.
